Detailní popis produktu
Echt! is prague pubrock band that have existed since 1988. Together with The Velvet Underground from New York and Půlnoc from Prague Echt! played at the opening of Andy Warhol‘s exhibition in Paris in 1990 and played concerts in France, Germany and Austria. Their first album Hořký pití (Bitter Drink) was very successful both with the reviewers and rock fans. Jiří Kabeš (ex-Plastic People) plays on guitar and violin on this album.
The second album Smutný věci (Sad Things) brought further songs in the pubrock style and also photo albums, spoken word, interview and lyrics in the CD-Extra format.
The third album Je mi krásně (I Feel Great) is another step forward. The three years of the band‘s development brought more harsh sound and more raw rock beat. Nevertheless, at the same time the album breaths out the heritage of underground – with a sixth sense a listener perceives that this time the music is influenced by Mejla Hlavsa, Lou Reed or Iggy Pop rather than Pogues or Levellers. And the lyrics? New Echt! is much more eloquent and even less digestible for middle class than they used to be!
